What’s New in the Latest Release of Autodesk A360?

Earlier this month, Autodesk released several new updates to Autodesk A360 its cloud-based project collaboration software.

A360 lets engineers and other project team members work concurrently with the latest versions of plans. And they can access them whether they are in the field, using a mobile device in their trucks or cars, or working from home.

The new release includes several exciting new additions as well as a few bug fixes. Thanks to the folks over at the A360 Blog, here’s what’s new:

New Comment Features

Collaboration just got a whole lot easier. Not only can stakeholders comment on a design, they can also comment on specific items or points within the design. If someone comments on a design in the field, mobile users can also view and comment from within the web app too.

Just click on a number within the design view to see a comment.

Easier Searching

Searching now mimics what most of us are used to experiencing within search engines – type-ahead capabilities that give suggestions so you get the answers you need faster.

Edit in A360 Desktop

Now you can open, edit, and save files into any Windows application like Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Using the A360 Desktop (one-time install), no download, upload or link copying is needed.
