Who’s Judging the Only Contest that Honors Achievement in Public Sector Digital Design?
Did you enter our 2012 [acronym] CAD Awards yet? If not, there’s still time to learn more about the contest (the only one of its kind to recognize achievements in digital design in the public sector) and submit your nomination. Once the contest closes, our expert panel of judges will get to work selecting a winner and runner up prizes!
Speaking of judges, we’re really excited about this year’s line-up which includes industry experts from Autodesk, IMAGINiT, CADD Microsystems, government commentators, and one of last year’s winners!
Here’s who you can expect to judge your work:
Shaan Hurley, Autodesk Technology Evangelist for the Office of the CTO, Autodesk. Shaan has been a passionate user of Autodesk Products, first as a customer and now as a Technology Evangelist, for over 18 years. Shaan was trained as a mechanical designer and has used many of the Autodesk products as a customer prior to joining Autodesk. Shaan spends most of his time speaking with customers and gathering feedback and suggestions, which help shape future product development. Brian Skripac, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BC+C, is the Director of Digital Practice, Astorino, and part of the winning team at the 2011 CAD Awards responsible for converting 2D AutoCAD floor plans at the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University into six million square feet of BIM. A recognized industry leader, Brian focuses on the integration of digital design technologies into all of the design/construction processes, including sustainability and building lifecycle management. Scott Eden, Vice President, CADD Microsystems. A regular contributor to [acronym], Scott Eden has served on the team at CADD Microsystems for more than 17 years. Scott and his team are trusted advisors to many government agencies and focus on assisting them in meeting critical goals in design and construction and operations and maintenance initiatives. CADD Microsystems is an Autodesk Government Specialist and Platinum Partner. The company was also named Autodesk Reseller of the Year in 2010.
Joe Eichenseer, Building Solutions Division Manager, IMAGINiT Technologies. Joe and his team provide leadership to building design firms, government agencies and contractors through the process of selecting, implementing, and optimizing software solutions. They engineer new workflow processes that dramatically improve productivity and efficiency. Specializing in the customization, optimization, and integration of Autodesk building design products, Joe helps AEC firms navigate the road to building information modeling (BIM) using a logical progression from 2D to full BIM.
Tom Trezza Jr, President, Trezza Media Group (TMG)and producer of a one hour-monthly radio and video program on Federal News Radio called The Federal Executive Forum. TMG also produces monthly Federal Executive Systems Integrator & Government Roundtables-bringing together Subject Matter Experts (SME) to discuss solutions on mission critical programs.
