Autodesk Utility Design with built-in RUS Standards Webcast

During the month of August, DLT Solutions teamed up with Autodesk for a webcast to showcase Autodesk Utility Design with RUS standards build-in. The webcast titled, Design Efficiencies with Built-In RUS standards, focused on: these key areas:
  • Improve Staking Sheet productivity
  • Optimize material expenditures
  • Improve consistency within organization
Observation: The presenters dove into the layout of the staking sheet, the engineering involved with RUS standards and built-in material ordering with accurate stock numbers and compatible units. One thing that made this webcast stand out was the live demonstration of the AutoCAD staking sheet. By using live demonstrations the audience was able to see first-hand the benefits of Autodesk Utility Design with RUS built-in, such as the ability to improve layout consistency, help meet correct standards, and more easily associate RUS material with unique stock numbers.  These can help to improve data accuracy and consistency, leading to better choices about material, equipment, and facility sizing.
