Google is Reunited with Civil 3D
Missing the ability to import Google Maps into the latest versions of Civil 3D? Civil 3D 2012 was the last version of Civil 3D that allowed importing imagery and terrain information from Google. A New Twist on 3D Printing – Liquid Metal!
3D printing is booming. And, while most 3-D printers thread spools of plastic filament onto a heated nozzle, which then drops liquid plastic onto a surface one layer at a time until an object is formed, researchers at North Carolina State University in Raleigh have spent the last four years researching how to do the same with liquid metals.
