Thinking about upgrading to AutoCAD 2014 Design Suite?
There is a new educational training video on AutoCAD 2014 Design Suite that was recently released by kubit USA, a software developer for surveying, construction and architecture. The new suite, which was released in March, introduced Autodesk Recap workflow with the Reality Capture Project/ Reality Capture Scan (RCP/RCS) engine.
What’s new in this upgraded suite?
There’s a slight difference between AutoCAD 2011-2013 Design Suites and AutoCAD 2014 Design Suite. The newest version has the ability to process a large amount of data sets for larger project management and visualization designs while providing a high quality point of view.
The video introduces Autodesk Recap and demonstrates how to make changes to the workflow using kubit’s PointSense software products, which allow users to manage and process laser scan data within AutoCAD. Users can also see how point cloud data management has improved with a discussion around recommended workflows and important limitations users may have with the new Autodesk point cloud format.
