Autodesk University, Day Three was a big day for Autodesk's Subscription customers and I found myself joining many of them at Subscription Forum, hosted by Autodesk's Subscription Team.
More than just a support tool, Autodesk highlighted a few real world examples on how to effectively manage subscription accounts. During the presentation, they explained a success story on how one of DLT Solutions’ government customers was able to save money by cutting back on unused licenses. By utilizing the tools found in their Subscription Center Account they were able to pull a Coverage Report and pinpoint the unused license. With the money saved by going through this exercise, the customer was able to use the extra funds elsewhere when it was time to upgrade their computers. Not only did they save money, they also increased their productivity with the faster machines. It’s always great news to hear stories like this!
We wrapped up the day by attending a Subscription Customer Appreciation Event where Autodesk raffled off 10 new iPads. I can’t think of a better place to have good luck then Las Vegas!
