Scope
The software product category of Information Technology Asset Management Software and Solutions Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products, subscriptions, maintenance, support, and services includes, but is not limited to, the subcategories of:
IT Operations Management and IT Service Management |
Automated discovery and monitoring, and event management of existing and cloud native applications and hybrid environments. Provides analytics-driven, highly automated and orchestrated service desk, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and asset management. |
Log Management and Security |
Comprehensive threat detection and compliance management platform. Optimizes collection, normalization and enrichment of large volumes of data in real time, while supporting open standards for better threat detection. Supports the full range of security information and event management functions-including posture assessment, monitoring, alert and incident handling, breach analysis and response, and real-time event correlation. |
Incremental Development Test Automation |
Provides pre-configured capability offerings to help Agencies Setup Agile methods and incremental development best practices required by FITARA. |
Application Security |
Provides pre-configured capabilities to help Agencies implement the three cornerstones of application security: secure development lifecycle (SDLC), a security gate/Certification and Accreditation, and continuous monitoring of applications in production. |
Data Center Automation |
Provides pre-configured capability offerings to help Agencies track and improve their IT Portfolio Savings and application rationalization goals as well as report metrics monthly. Helps automate provisioning and configuration for virtual servers, physical servers, databases, middleware, and clients. |
Network Performance Monitor |
Reduces network outages and quickly detect, diagnose, and resolve multi-vendor network performance issues with affordable, easy-to-use network monitoring software |

Quickly locates network devices, manage switch and switch ports, detect rogue devices and users, turn ports on and off remotely |

Provides pre-configured capability offerings to help Agencies track and improve their IT Portfolio Savings and application rationalization goals as well as reporting to OMB |

Discovery technology that provides up-to-date network topology and root cause analysis. |
Enterprise Software License Management |
Provides pre-configured capability offerings to assist Agencies in enabling enterprise software license management required by OMB. |
App Portal |
Empowers employees with self-service software request and provisioning that ensures a great user experience while helping IT automate delivery, ensure proper governance, and maximize usage of enterprise software. |
Data Security |
Includes encryption and key management products that protect high value data, and the data protection solutions are NIST certified and FIPS 140-2 validated. |
Information Management and Governance |
Enables the discovery, classification and remediation of identifying where sensitive data resides within the IT Infrastructure. |
Authorized Users:
DoD or Agencies
This BPA is open for ordering by the “DoD Departments and Agencies” on a world-wide basis. “Departments and Agencies” are defined by the Title 48 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 202.101. In addition, “DoD or Agencies” includes the Intelligence Community (IC) and the U.S. Coast Guard. For the purposes of this BPA, a DoD component is defined as follows: the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Unified Combatant Commands, the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (DoD IG), the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, the U. S. Coast Guard, Intelligence Communities (IC) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) with a Letter of Authorization.
If this Agreement is co-branded with GSA and is OMB Designated Best in Class, it is open to all United States Federal Agencies.
GSA, Other Ordering Organizations, and Organizations
GSA or other applicable ordering agencies /organizations, ordering on behalf of the DOD and/or FMS, are authorized to place Orders under this BPA and must comply with DFARS 208.74.
Contractors and Integrators
Government contractors performing work for a DoD Component (as defined above) may place Orders under this BPA on behalf of and for the benefit of the DoD entity if authorized by their cognizant Contracting Officer in accordance with the requirements of FAR 51 and/or DFARS 251 as appropriate.
