Declining Spending Begins to Bounce Back with Rising Budgets
Over the past six years, we’ve seen a decline in government spending. But recently, there was been an increase in contract spending that is predicted to continue into fiscal year 2017. According to a study by Bloomberg Government, 60 percent of government spending is consistently on services; knowledge-based services, facility-related services, and technology services. The largest product spending is on technology equipment, with aircraft spending in second.

Why Small Bites Make Sense for Cloud

Experts Split on the Federal Cyber Sprint
Recently, a survey conducted by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium and KPMG was released at the (ISC)2 Conference and revealed opinions on the federal cyber sprint. Out of 54 executive-level government officials, 52 percent agreed that the cyber sprint had not enhanced overall security for federal information systems. With many new mandates and requirements being put on the plates of government agencies, they felt overwhelmed by yet another project to focus on.
