DLT to Provide Red Hat Software Licenses to Navy Under $133M BPA

The U.S. Navy has awarded DLT Solutions a potential five-year, $133.4 million blanket purchase agreement to provide Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) software licenses for the service branch.

The BPA has a base ordering term of one year worth approximately $22.8 million and four option years for firm-fixed-price task orders, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The service branch received two offers for the agreement through the General Services Administration’s eBuy portal and expects the initial ordering period to conclude in December 2017.

DLT will perform work in Herndon, Virginia.

The Naval Supply Systems Command‘s fleet logistics center in Pennsylvania will use operations and maintenance funds for fiscal 2017 upon issuance of individual task orders, according to DoD.
