ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST II
DLT Solutions, Inc., a reseller of state-of-the-art software products to Government and
Commercial customers, is seeking an energetic professional to join our sales team at
our office in Herndon. DLT has experienced year-over-year growth in an increasingly
competitive market and it’s our employees that have made us the successful organization
that we are today. Currently, we are looking to hire professionals that will continue

BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Contact with customers, vendors and
internal staff members.
JOB SUMMARY:
Compiles and maintains accounts payable records
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checks and approves vouchers for payments
- Answers vendor inquiries
- Analyzes vendor accounts
- Prepares accounts payable checks
- Prints accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
- Prepares Monthly Reconciliations
- Assists in monthly closings
- Assists with audits and special projects as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred
- Two – three years of Accounts Payable experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal, written communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to operate computer and related equipment and general office equipment
- Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook, etc. - Strong customer service skills. Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal
and external contacts - Ability to complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to remain sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to understand verbal/written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
